The Careers and Participation Service can help you to find your way after school. Sometimes that’s about applying for jobs, to college, sixth form, apprenticeships or jobs with training.

If you feel overwhelmed (you may have never done anything like this before), we’re here to help with things like:

• filling in application forms for jobs, college, sixth form, apprenticeships or training.
• CVs (information that you send to employers, including qualifications, work experience).
• covering letters (to send with your CV to employers).
• personal statements.
• interview skills - including how to talk positively about yourself and what you can do to prepare.
• pointing you in the direction of good jobs sites and other people that can help.
• how to make a good impression.
