Happening on 19 June 2025 10:00 AM Various dates and locations in Staffordshire

Date: Various dates in June 2025

Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Venue: Various venues throughout Staffordshire

Organiser: Staffordshire County Council

Parents carers and professionals you are invited to attend a community conversation event about Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Alternative Provision in Staffordshire.

Your thoughts and experiences will help shape Staffordshire's SEND and Alternative Provision Strategy and guide the way professionals across education, health and social care support children and young people in the future.

Throughout June, four events are taking place across Staffordshire. They will bring people together to explore what is working well and priorities for the future.

At the events, we’ll be using a coproduction game, called ‘Whose Shoes?’ to explore different perspectives, share experiences, and identify solutions and best practice.

Feedback from the sessions, along with responses to a survey for children and young people, will be used by Staffordshire County Council working in partnership with Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB), to create the new strategy.

Please join us/share this information to help shape a strategy that reflects the needs and priorities of our community.
