It’s really easy to apply to Connect to Work. Just follow these steps:

  1. 1

Connect to Work is here to help people who may find it harder to find and keep work.

  2. 2

The next stage is to fill in an "Expression of Interest" form to tell us about yourself.

    • If we think that Connect to Work is not right for you, we’ll tell you about other ways we can help.
    • If it looks like Connect to Work might be right, we will invite you to a meeting to meet an Employment Specialist.
  3. 3

You will then meet someone who works on Connect to Work.

This can be in person or on a video call.

They will ask more questions and explain how Connect to Work works.

If you still want to join, we will send your details to Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to check.

  4. 4

You don’t need to do anything!

We check with the DWP to make sure you’re not already getting help from another programme.

We will let you know what the DWP say.

  5. 5

If the DWP say it’s ok, we will then start working with you to help you get ready to find the right job at the right time.

This programme is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and delivered by Staffordshire County Council, in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and expert providers across the county.
