What can you study?

If you are taking your GCSEs, you might have an idea of what you enjoy and what you are good at, so what you can take at A Level may be obvious. A Levels are a good idea if you are considering going to university.

But don’t worry if it isn’t obvious, or you think that A Levels aren’t for you.

You need to stay in some sort of learning until you’re 18, but there are many options including apprenticeships or work-related qualifications.

Where can you study?

You can do this at college or smaller training centres, at sixth form, or study as part of your work.

Studying at college or smaller training centres can be a fresh start - there is a life after school. Here you can learn what you want with people like you, and you can even learn work-based skills that you’ve never tried before.
